LIVING BEYOND YOUR PERSONAL LIMIT (1)

Everything we do is surrounded by our personal fascination and peoples’ interests. You cannot grow beyond those limits you believed is not attainable by you or anyone else.
Subsequently your expectation on other people cannot improve overnight. We don’t change overnight.

Though I am 100% Bible believer, one of my favorite Bible verses I learnt from my late father is “….with God All Things are possible”. Mark 10:27. Even living beyond our personal limit and people changing are possible if I truly understand what the bible is saying.
Then, the question is should we wait till people change before we do what we are supposed to do? My answer is NO!

Jesus Christ knew Peter will deny him Luke 22:34, yet He did what He was supposed to do by investing his life in Peter and not waiting till Peter changes to a courageous and faithful disciple.

In Richard Templar words “People don’t change. If they’re tricky, over-sensitive, slow, unreliable, bossy or anything else, they always will be”.

When we organize our life, we have to fits parts of it around other people. We can’t exist in isolation, and we don’t control the other people we’re fitting around.

The way to living beyond our personal limits is not to wait for people to change, but to stop expecting it. If we can just build their eccentricities into our plans, life will be so much fulfilling.
