NATIONAL DEBT: Ignorance powered rhetoric made by APC?

FACT 1:Nigeria’s overall debt is comprised of external and domestic debts. Our total debt stock is $63.7b with $21.8 billion incurred under the outgoing government of President Goodluck Jonathan. $18 billion is the domestic component and $3.7 billion external component of Jonathan era debts..
FACT 2: As at August 2006, Nigeria’s foreign and domestic debts amounted to US$3.5 billion and US$13.8 billion respectively – a total of US$17.3 billion or 11.8% of GDP. In effect Jonathan and state governors added $3.7b to our external debts while the states and Federal government added $18.1b to our domestic debts in 5 years. Obasanjo borrowed from the domestic market too and did not hand over a debt free country as wrongly believed by some so called "experts" and "analysts".
FACT 3: The key noticeable change in Nigeria’s indebtedness in recent years has been the growth of domestic debt.
This involves local borrowing by states and federal govt to fund projects and salaries.
Do you know that in 2010 when you clapped for 53% salary increase the govt borrowed to fund it? Some of us said no then and you said yes without thinking it through. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was not even the minister when that decision was made but rather it was Olusegun Aganga that was in charge and APC's Adam Oshiomole supported it without a care on the effect on our economy and debt profile.
Same you that supported the jumbo rubbish is now crying "high debt" and "economic woes". Uwa gi ntooo to unfounded populism that does not even recognize that the money we are wasting on Boko Haram is impacting our economy.
FACT 4: In February 2015 alone $403m foreign loans were approved for Lagos, Rivers, Ogun, Osun. All of them are APC states.
So you think that only Federal Govt borrows from abroad?
Does anyone still remember the noise made by Rivers Amaechi over a foreign loan he wanted for water project? When you were supporting him did you know he was adding to our foreign debts? Same way he and NGF compelled Finance minister to share excess crude funds and are now crying wolf over ECA. Did you protest when they asked for ECA to be shared instead of saved? Lekwa uwa gi na ignorance.
FACT 5: All the heavily indebted states in domestic terms are APC states aside from Akwa Ibom. States like Kano, Rivers and Lagos are the heaviest borrowers from the domestic market and also foreign markets whereas states like Abia owe the least. Even then APC states like Osun owe the highest number of months in salary arrears whereas Anambra is not owing kobo in salaries
Yet na APC make noise pass while owing, in some instance 13 months salary of teachers and 8 months of civil servants salary even while answering "Ogbeni". Okay o..
.................................................
Can someone make these facts available to APC leaders, Obasanjo and Yemi Osibanjo?
Next time you write an idiotic petition against Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala please include Fashola, Amaechi, Kwankwanso, Aregbesola and Amosun as the real culprits. "Eko o ni baje" ala Fashola simply means domestic and foregn debts multiplied. Lagos is the father of foreign and local debts and you were okay with that and rightly or wrongly made noise about "seeing" the projects. Why are you turning round to complain about high national debt profile after "seeing" projects financed through heavy borrowing?
Wake me up when people start commenting on issues based on verifiable facts. Yesterday APC was against fuel subsidy removal and today they are complaining about fuel subsidy.
Ozu Nwa Bekee party of Nigeria.
Personally, I am waiting for June 1st to buy fuel from Prof Tam David West at N40/lit with or without subsidy. Or else....I will go naked and trek from Bayelsa to Katsina. If Nigerians have people to rail against they should be those who opposed fuel subsidy removal and those who supported jumbo salary increase. If not for fear of God I would have said "shoot em all" because they are the enemies of Nigeria and yet loudest populists misleading our people.
Lastline: if they have given you power please govern us and stop whining about debts and what the outgoing govt did or did not do. If all was well why then did we "change" the govt? Every new govt inherits assets and liabilities from the preceding regime. If you can't deal with what you are meeting from May 29th RESIGN and GO BACK HOME. We won't accept excuses because before you apply for a job you do diligence on the job and then "beg to apply" if you believe you can perform the job well or better than the incumbent.
Nigerians are waiting for "change", not "excuses" and whining!!!!
APC should CHANGE from opposition mentality before we start shouting PDP...Change!!! Four year no far at all o.
